Is there anything more cozy than a fall scented candle burning on a chilly autumn day? I love candles, but I love buying the fall scents the most. Every year I stock up at the Yankee Candle store! There are soo many to choose from and they always bring in new scents, but there are a few that are staples for bringing that cozy fall vibe into your home. In this post I’m listing the best fall scented candles for your home. These are the ones I find myself buying every year!
Fresh Fall Scents
Autumn in the Park – This has a wonderful clean outdoor sent. Fresh apples and crisp leaves is the perfect description of this candle. These type of fresh scents are my favorite to burn! Maybe it will inspire you to go out for a relaxing leaf viewing walk!
Fall Leaves –
I think this might be my number 1 favorite! It has fresh woody scent with juniper berry and notes of maple and orange. It will instantly makes you think of a crisp fall day. It’s great for a laid back day at home.
Crisp Fall Night – This is a newer scent that was released recently. I purchased it last fall and did not have a chance to use it. It has an earthy woody scent from vetiver and oak. Lavender and maple leaf give it a bit of sweetness. Some slight spice and fruitiness comes from bergamot, grapefruit and black pepper. This would be great to light in the evening as you are winding down since it contains lavender in the main body of the fragrance notes.
Autumn Food Scents
Pumpkin Butter – This is a new scent that Yankee Candle came out with. I just purchased this recently and can’t wait to try it out! It has a wood wick so it makes that distinct and relaxing crackling sound which brings such a great ambience!
Apple Spice – Apple spice to me smells like cooking apple pie in the kitchen or apple cider doughnuts! It has a spicy fruity scent that I think it’s very cheerful and is great way to uplift your mood.
Farmers Market – When you want to give your home that cozy warm inviting feeling, the farmers market candle is one of my favorites. The scent isn’t too overpowering, it’s a little spicy and fruity at the same time with apple, berry, peach and clove.
Thankful – This one is from bath and body works, it’s a cinnamon pumpkin scent but I felt like it had a unique sort of spicy smoky smell to it, kind of like bonfire. I think it would be perfect for a crisp fall evening. Maybe it will inspire you to have a s’more too!
Let’s Get Ready for Fall!
These are just a few of my favorite fall candles. I may have gone a bit overboard with the fall candle shopping this year. It was just too exciting when I walked in to the store and smelled all these wonderful autumn scents.
Autumn is when we start to settle in and get ready for the colder weather. It’s so important to relax during this time! A great way to relax is to simply light a candle, curl up on the sofa with a cup or coffee, tea or apple cider and read a book or watch a movie!
